Cannondale Caad8 105 2010 or Specialized allez Elite 2011?

Hi Guys im new to the site and im looking at buying my first road bike. Ive been doing lots of research online and in store and I have these two bikes reserved at a store for a test ride. Both seem to be very similar to me and are priced the same but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what they think would be the better buy?

    Hello,

    This is a difficult question for me, for sure. You are right that the two bicyles are very similar. Not that I wish to make more matters complicated for you, but have you considered a Specialized Secteur? For sure, this years model is particularly good value.

    I have a 2010 Allez Elite, but I think the CAAD is probably the better option out of the two.

    Thanks for the replies guys.
    I have looked at the secteur option but I'm not sure if I'd like the more upright riding position but I can see where you coming from as it has a good spec. My friend is actually considering buying the secteur. I've been thinking the caad is better option but it's such a tough choice. The more reasearh and bikes I look at the more I change my mind! Suppose test riding them both might shed some more light.
