I'm trying to decide which to 29er tyres to get and like the look of the Nobby Nics or Racing Ralphs by Schwalbe but am struggling to find stockists. Does anyone know a decent supplier that gives decent discounts?

Thanks. I can't seem to find a Nobby Nic and Rocket Ron supplier in 29er sizes though. Maybe they're not available in the UK yet.Santa Cruz Tallboy0

Thanks, that's a much better price on the Racing Ralphs. I think the others must not be available here yet. I have Maxxis Ignitors (2.1) at the moment and am thinking of getting something which will give me more grip (possibly a 2.25 or wider) but still be light weight. Am I on the right tracks? The Racing Ralphs 2..4 might be an option. Apart from potential rubbing, is there a maximum width for a given wheel?Santa Cruz Tallboy0

Google is amazing.
What you do is type in what you want, and it tells you where you can buy it and for what price. Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?0 -
Thanks, I didn't think of that! Despite trying, I can't seem to find anywhere stocking Rocket Rons or Nobby Nics in 29 inch but believe they became available earlier this year. My guess is they haven't come to the UK yet. And I also find that it's not always the best or cheapest suppliers that come up on searches, just those that have optimised their websites better or paid google more so recommendations are still worth asking for.Santa Cruz Tallboy0
