Saw it in Tesco's yesterday, anyone tried it? It is supposed to be a stronger flavour. Not for me then, I like Vegemite.

I love Marmite, but having seen the salt content I've cut back a bit. I hope a stronger flavour doesn't just mean more salt.
  • You mean they made something that already tastes horrible taste even worse  Are they trying to go broke?
  • Not tried the X O but anyone else tried Marmite cheese? Bloody lovely.

I tried it and quite liked it. It is stronger than the standard stuff, but it's also more expensive, so I didn't restock the cupboard with it when I finished it off.

Marmite is vile. It used to be nicer, now it's too salty.

    Vegemite is miles nicer.

My other half bought some and loves it, says it's much richer than the original, but not more salty.

Personally, I still think it looks and tastes like sh*t !

Please Freehub, do us a cookbook or at least a top-10 original recipes. Wasn't there about microwaved mars bars a while back?

Does XO only come in boxes? I looked for it in Tesco today and could only find original.

On this one the house is split down the middle with me and my son hating it and my wife , daughter like it.
It will never pass my lips again without a real BIG fight!
  • Marmite cheese is available in the cheese aisle at most supermarkets.
    And XO is fantastic!

    Can we fix it?
    Yes we can!
  • Where does this live. I cant find it in asda or morrisons. I saw it on ebay for a tenner too.
