Just thought I would share KHS newly announced range.

Just wondering if anyone knows why the XC604 is now £1399 whereas last years was only £850!?!
Still want one though but at that price I will think about a few other options too!

Is the spec different? Was it actually a 2010 bike before, I thought they had had old stock for a while.0

Yeah different spec but they seem to have the ethos of keeping them affordable. And the whole idea was the XC604 was sub £1000. Big shame if not but the RRP of last years was £1299 but they sold for £850 so maybe I'll call them tomorrow to find out whats going on!0

Seems like they have put a better spec on the XC604 and pushed it up a bit upmarket, and introduced the new (I think) XC 204 in it's place. Call me a snob if you like, but there is no way I'd pay £1k for a bike with Alivio on it.0 -
The new Alivio has been pusehd forward a bit, now is 9 speed. But I get what you are saying, in relative terms it lies in the same place.
But you could also look at it this way - many people charge this for the frame alone0
