After seeing it in MBUObvious last month, I quite fancy doing the west Highland Way next year.

i am hopefully doing this next year!
original plan was coast to coast but one of the party isnt fit enough, so now the plan is the west highland way. just need to figure out how many distilleries we can hit en route.

I'll West Highland your Way in a minute

The only problem I'm coming against at the moment is the logistics. I can carry all my gear with me no probs, but where the fark do I leave the car :?

    Logistics? Easy.

Start in Fort Bill...camp or B&B overnight.
Ride south on WHW....complete the 97 miles in a single day...(24 hours period)
Get train back to fort bill.
    Collect Car. sleep.

    Sorted.

You get bonus point for every minute under 19 hours.

    :)

If it had to be literally the last ride EVER i'd say that mountain in Utah where they do the RBR, on a carbon V10 with batman, superman and wolverine. I'd die obviously, be it'd be a fine way to go.

    My bike, hans rey, anywhere.
  • Mine would be riding with all my riding buddies here, a few people i'd be interested in riding with from the forum, and a few champs from the world, riding through the best of the alps, on a specialized SX trail, and more bling than you can imgaine, with full XTR. sounds like a plan to me.

Hmmmm, for me it would be on my Norco ragging it down A-line, because it is such a fast flowy trail.
