Crud Road Race II

Hi everyone
Looking for some advice on the above product which I have recently purchased.
After fitting these I have noticed the rear guard rubs the top of the tyre. Do you have any advice to cure this?
I have tried changing the angle of the arms but as they are fixed to the down tube and brake ‘thingy’ the guards hardly move.
Bike is a Bianchi C2C running 23mm Michelin pro race (if that is any help at all!)
Any help greatly appreciated.

Tighten up the cable tie around the brake bolt
I think I've heard that some Bianchi bikes have quite tight clearance so you maybe out of luck
Raceblades work differently ( see my blog article ) so you could try them instead0 -
thanks for the replys
yep the clearence is TIIIIIIIIght! :?0 -
I had a Bianchi a few years back and the clearances were so tight that I definitely couldn't have squeezed a pair of Roadracers in.
There wasn't much daylight under the brakes but even worse that that, the rear tyre was within about 1 mm of the band-on rear mech - no chance!0
