Have been eyeing this for some time as my BSO is really past it - don't want to shell out for another freewheel, so I search on the Decathlon website - stone me! The vitamin's gone AWOL.
At 70 notes it was always too be good to be true. Anyone out there with inside info? Will it be back in stock soon? Breath is bated here.
(And TIA but I don't want a slightly 2nd-hand one for £200:))

Its still there http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/vitamin-117071608/
It is now available in black rather than just the bright orange it was lauched in.
I know my store (Stockport) has stock or it did on Sunday when I was working and the online checker is also showing stock.
Great bike for £70 and so much so I'm thinking of buying one for a winter hack for going to the gym as I can fit guards on it if needed.0 -
Was in my local store last week and they had 4 or 5 on the shop floor, 1 in real vitamin C colour, the rest in black.

Yeah, can't find this bargain anywhere now. There're a few in East Glasgae but they won't deliver to Lahndan.
Might go for the £100 MTB instead for a pub / shop hack.0 -
Noooooo! I was *this* close to buying one!
I love the idea of paying £70, adding some £5 mudguards and a £10 rack and having a perfectly good town bike. I mean, I've bought secondhand hack bikes for £50 but I've always ended up spending another £50 on bits and pieces, and you still end up with a 25-year-old bike that doesn't work quite as well as you want, and has no warranty.0 -
1 left in sheffield.
It says "end of collection" in corner of webpage0 -
I don't know if Decathalon have changed their warrentys.
During June 08 I bought one of their £500 road bikes and used it for a year. A few things went wrong on it (a cassette ring came off/snapped after 3 months/ the chain snapped at 6 months). At 11 months I managed to bend the rear hanger while moving house. I bought 2 of their hangers (neither of which fitted) and I ended up complaining and getting a full refund (they didn't have a suitable bike for exchange) after a years use!
I don't think you can beat that for a track record...0 -
I've emailed our UK stock manager to see what is going on with the Vitamin and the website.
I work in Stockport and we have loads in stock but they were not showing so on the website.
If you really want one it could be worth calling the store just to double check stock levels.I know at times we have taken payment over the phone for smaller orders.0
