1st Gen iphone, mapping/routing software ?

Just bought a 1st gen iphone off a mate, does it have the facility for mapping etc ? Obviously i'll need to download apps etc.

If yes, which is the preferred iphone app ?

    I hope you didn't pay much for it, they weren't really up to much! It doesn't have GPS, so you can't use it for routing anyway.

    Nah not much mate to be honest.

    Bought it more for the wife than for myself really as she loves her ipod touch but would also like the functionality of phone i rekon.
