Lee Quarry - Advice needed

I'm off to Lee/Cragg Quarry on Saturday to give my Boardman Team FS it's first proper outin! I have upgraded the tyres as reccommended by a few people and have some spare innertubes as I have heard it's quite bad for pinch flats up there.
I'm really looking for some sort of route map of the place to give some idea of the route and where things like the skills section is at Lee Quarry.
Is there a "route map" at Lee Quarry where you start?
If anyone has the issue of What Mountain Bike magazine with the review of Lee Quarry in and the maps, I'd happily buy it off you!
Any other advice / pointers / insider secrets that are worth knowing especially to do with the link are very much appreciated.

about half way down there is a link to download a copy of the map.
You cant miss the skills section, its part of the red loop. To be honest its pretty easy to find your way around. Head up the hill from the carpark, go through the gate and continue up the hill. You come to a point where the track bends off to the right and there is a track leading off to the left with a large info board at the junction. Turn left here for the start of the red route and its signposted from there.0 -
Excellent!!
Thanks guys, I suspected there may be a map but like to be prepared!
Just hope the weather is like it is here today!!
Many thanks again!!

As for pinch flats I go up to Lee and cragg quite often and touch wood I have never had a pinch flat or flat up there, it's all dependent on what pressures you run and if our tubeless or tubed. You'll have a blast up there, there has been some excellant work done and I'm quite fortunate that they are on my doorstep, Cragg being a 20min ride away, can't wait for the link between the two to be complete.
On that note does anyone know when the link is due to complete?0 -
I understood that the link's due to be finished next month, although I thought I saw someone mention that it was possible to do it now?...
And deffo no need for a map for Lee Quarry, it's just like a big playground where you go round and round and round and round...Early Orange 5, Felt Z85, Scott Thicko, modified Giant full suss (both nicked)- beat-up single-speed rigid 1992 Saracen (scrapped), and various 2-wheelers with big engines0
