2011 New Shimano 105 Groupset

Hi,

Can you tell em what you think of the new 2011 shimano 105 groupset & any problems and good expieriences you have had?

    Well the 2010 105 changes as well as 2011 Ultegra so assuming they haven't frigged with the 2011 105 it will be great.
  • I don't think many people will have used it yet but Cycling Weekly gave it ten out of ten when they reviewed it a few months ago.

    Do you mean the 105 _5700 group set that came out in the Summer or are you referring to the set that will superseed it?

    I have a full 5700 setup on my 2nd bike and so far I am have no complaints (although I have only done 500 miles so far).

  • As they're the same basic design as current Ultegra, the STIs will be fantastic. The braking from the hoods is incredible. The hoods feel much nicer in the hand than the old shape.

    I've got it on my winter bike and it's excellent. The shifting is lighter and slicker than the Ultegra 6700 on my best bike.
