If you want serious Übergrip pedals, it has to be Wellgo B54. Much overlooked, probably as they're not the most stylish, but then if you're combining them with the super unstylish Five Tens anyway...
Cheap too.0 -
Thanks deadkenny ill take a look although the superstar pedals are still the favourites ATM2010 Orange Crush Custom

Looking at those superstars pedals, whats the difference between the nano tech and the nano thru pin? It`s changed a bit since...

Thru pin model has thru-pins and the other has grub screws, I much prefer thru-pins0

I run white MG1`s on both my Hardtail and Full sus, combined with the ubber grippy hard rubber soles of FiveTens, i`ve had zero foot slip and get great `connectivity` with the bike.
Think you can still get them for £30 here

XPEDO UTMOST 340 GRAMS GOLD PEDAL XMX16AC
They were under £40 inc. p&p on eBay international (Taiwan).
340gms per pr (weight verified), excellent design, & quality material/build. They came with box of replacement pins, & spanner too.
Maybe worth a look?
BTW, Xpedo is lesser known high-end arm of Wellgo (largest global manufacturer of pedals, found as standard on most new bikes).0
