What a beautiful day!
Not a cloud in the sky, warm Autumn sun and quiet Sunday morning roads. Headed over to Valkenburg, down the Cauberg. Had a coffee and cake and a wander around. Loads of cyclists out and about enjoying the glorious conditions. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of them. My shipment's been stuck in the UK for six weeks with the incompetent morons charged with the final leg of its journey, so we had to take the car.
Still, my appetite is whetted for when the steed finally arrives.....
Hope you all had a good Sunday out.

It's been a glorious afternoon in London too. It started overcast but the stiffish breeze cleared the murk, leaving the sky cloudless and the light crystal-clear.0

Dull and overcast here in NE Fife, strangely still managed to come across 6 other cyclists this afternoon which is more than in any other ride this year.Do Nellyphants count?

I wasn't up as early as you then. Woke up and threw the curtains open to see lovely blue sky. I was like a kid who had seen snow, couldn't wait to be out.0 -
No cycling today, hung over. The sun hurt my eyes.
I'm jealous of you being in Valkenburg, potssteve - used to cycle round there whilst visiting the in-laws in Ulestraten, and still have memories of fabulous sunny evenings on quiet country roads. Some great little hill climbs to train on as well, and of course the good coffee, beer and fantastic frites are a real bonus! Enjoy...0 -
I did a ride around Walkenburg last year, the weather was really nice then too. There are some fairly good roads around as well especially to the East. If I remember we rode out to Aachen, loosely along the route of a race we had seen. Its a beautiful area, very jealous.Road Bike; http://www.bikeradar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12727419
