    Just do it..................

I've been a long time member.........the insurance/legal assistance is the business....... BC's solicitors are sorting stuff out for me at present, having been knocked off. £36 for Silver is a no brainer. Race, then get Gold.

unless you are wanting a racing licence, I'd recommend CTC for the same price & a bi monthly magazine to boot

BC also do a non-race membership for £24. Get you 3rd party insurance and access to legal help/members discounts. Definitely worth doing IMHO.

You don't need Gold to race. Silver will do just fine.

You can get a free Bronze membership too if it's your first time or something like it?

If it's your first join up and you are a member of an affiliated club you get your first year of bronze membership free (or silver or gold discounted by the same amount).

I wouldn't suggest joining the BCF though as they disappeared years ago, go for BC instead

I'm not sure BCF did disappear. I think it still exists, its just the trading name that changed. I may of course be completely wrong.

PS Become a child welfare officer at your local Go Ride club abd get silver membership free :D
