Hi all,
i recently got back into MTB's after about 10 years out.
I bought a Raleigh AT10 back in march ready for the London to Brighton, it was ok for a while, then i started going off road with a mate of mine, and fell in love with off roading again, so sold up my RC nitro car stuff and just bought a Trek 6300 black 2010 and i love it.
What are peoples thoughts on the Trek 6300?
Any tips i should know about?
and servicing/riding tips?
i bought it secondhand, the guy bought it in March and done around 6 miles on road with it, been in his garage ever since, i just paid £470 including cateye lights, Altura waterproofs (like new) and a new Helmet so a real bargain in my eyes as its mint!.
would be gratefull of any hints or tips but im sure i will be asking plenty of questions along the way.
Many Thanks

Alright Dude,
Years ago I had a Trek 7000- 2001 model I think. I still use it now for road winter training. I love it. Great ride, light, super fast. Bit sore after a long ride due to it being quite a 'spread out' ride. The Stem to seatpost length is quite long.
I am assuming Trek have changed their geometrys in the last ten years. The one thing I can say is that I will always recommend Trek- my trusty is still going strong a decade later and is fun to ride when I am not on my XC beast!! (Check out the signature link if interested)
