Just been attempting to install my GXP botom bracket and Sram Force chainset to my Specialized Tarmac frame.

I have installed the BB as instructed with the with the two spacers used as I think the BB is 68mm. (the istrcutions say they should be used on a 73mm BB) I have then installed the cranks and when they are tightened up they are not able to rotate. obviously if they are loosened off they rotate fine but there is quite a lot of play.

Any thoughts on why this is happening? any ideas what needs to be done to sort this out?

Any help would be appreciated.

    Take the spacers out?

My cranks have a wave washer for use with GXP BBs. Do you have one of those? Or maybe you need a spacer on one side only?

Can't understand that, did you fit spacers or not ?
You don't need any spacers on a 68mm road bike BB.
