Sorry if this is in the wrong area but I just wanted to post a thank you to Danielle and Aiden of Astounding Adventures for a great day yesterday of coaching and guided cycling around the Holmbury area of the North Downs. I can highly recommend their MTB skills courses or any other MTB course as it introduces new techniques and helps with bad habits.. I've come away with significantly greater confidence in tackling trails and skills which will enable me to develop further plus I got to know some of the well known trails in the area such as Yogurt Pots and Barry knows best. Nit pick :D... Holmbury is Surrey Hills. North Downs is Box Hill, Ranmore, etc.

Not that it matters which is which (except in knowing which drains better because of the different rock and soil - nerd that I am).

Glad you enjoyed it. Check out the London Calling thread in the Rides section. Lots of people ride the area and we know most of the trails and not just the official stuff. It's an addictive place to ride.
  • Hi Chris

Thanks for the feedback. It was a pleasure having your group down for the day. :)

Don't forget you're always welcome for a return visit whether for another course to take your skills to the next level or a guided ride to show you the very best singletrack The Surrey Hills (and North Downs) have to offer. We barely scratched the surface on Thursday.

Our courses run every other Saturday in The Surrey Hills with skills sessions in the morning and guided rides in the afternoon. Alternatively come down again with your group for another corporate day tailored to your exact needs - with a slap up pub lunch in the middle of course!

Hope your skills continue to go from strength to strength. Don't forget to practice! :)

    Cheers again!
