Family Bike Rack

I am having real trouble finding a 'strap on' bike carrier for my Ford C-Max. I have tried searching a number of compatibility menus on various websites, but the C-Max is never listed. The problem, apparently, is the small spoiler that houses the central brake light. Does anyone know of a rack that I could use with my car without risking damage? I don't have a tow bar to support a tow bar rack. Thanks.

What do you mean by family cycle carrier? How many bikes? I don't like rear mounted bike carriers.
If you are thinking of putting 2, 3 or 4 bikes on the bike I would seriously consider having a tow bar fitted and look at a suitable carrier.

I fitted a tow bar to my c-max and got a thule 3 bike carrier. The tow bar with electrics and the bike rack only cost just over £200 total although that was doing it myself. It was quite easy to fit.

We stick our 4 on the roof with Thule bars/carriers and works fine. Just need to remember when entering certain car parks
