Bodmin to Weston super Mare?

I think i've pee'd off my wife.
She's bid for and won a one way ticket to Bodmin on Freecycle.
It's got a reservation for a person and a bike.
She's told me to b*gger off and ride home!
I think she thinks it's a nice present, which it is, though it would have been better in summer, rather than the end of october
It's quite a way from there to Weston super Mare and i'm not in peak fitness so I think she'll have to pick me up somewhere as I have a party the next day so I can't camp overnight.
Any suggestions of routes to take or roads to avoid?
Anyone fancy tagging along for a bit?

Use the old A30 from Bodmin to the Devon border..see linky below
http://forum.ctc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=35527
After Exeter get on the B3181 (this is the old A38) through Broadclyst/Collumpton
At Willand turn off the B3181 to Uffculme
Stop off at Chateau Vorsprung for a cup of tea then continue to Culmstock
At Culmstock cross river, road bares left then right and climbs a small hill. Take 1st R at top of hill, then R at tee. Go through Nicholasheign, R at T onto A38 near Wellington
Then follow the A38 all the way to Highbridge. I expect you know the way home after that
I would guess that the total distance is a little over 100 miles0
