Knock on his door, pull him out and kick fcuk out of him.

Alternatively a big can of red gloss through the front window of his house is always a good idea.

You'll fester if you don't do anything.

Report to Police ask what they're going to do, follow up, if in a reasonable amount of time nothing happens slow calculated reprisal is your only option.

Multiple, small, annoying, but not dangerous, actions are the best. I like the informative Highway Code glueing, never thought of it myself. How about Riding is a Right Driving is a Privilege in paint stripper or etched onto a window!

edit: Oh and stop telling us any info unless Polizei prevail

You have to report it to the police - otherwise you (or better still he) can get done for failing to report an RTA. If it is not safe to stop at the scene, you (pl) are under legal obligation to report to your local station within 24 hours. If he does not report it in the same time, he can be charged for failing to report*.
Actually, a cyclist is not obliged to report the accident under the Road Traffic Act. Section 170 of the RTA, 1988 specifically states the duty to report an accident relates to the driver of a "mechanically propelled vehicle". Before any arguments start as to whether a bicycle is a mechanically propelled vehicle, for the purposes of the law, it isn't. For a vehicle to be classed as such, it must be powered by gas, oil, petrol, diesel, steam or electricity.

Thankfully he can't be here all the time but he has said previously that the law applies to motorised vehicles only. God bless him

Ok, fair point, but surely the motorist is obliged to report a collision with another road user within 24 hours and could be charged for not doing so??

Yep. If you follow the link that I provided, you'll find that Section 170 makes that clear.
  • Let down his tyres - everyday.

It's probably not criminal damage as there will be no lasting damage, but it will be a massive inconvenience to him and probably keep him off the road, which is pretty much a public service.

Had an incident on my way to work a week or so back. I was riding along a busy Cardiff road in the bus lane (also signed for bikes, taxis etc.) when a school mini bus came up behind me revving the engine and basically trying to intimidate me into getting out of his way as he couldn't overtake due to stationery traffic in the adjacent lane. He eventually pushed past about a foot from my shoulders before cutting back in and almost hitting a cyclist in front of me. The bus was from a local private school so I emailed the school and (very politely) suggested that they ought to remind their drivers of their obligations to other road users especially when driving a vehicle with the school's name on it and carrying their pupils. I didn't get the courtesy of a reply but I think it must have worked as the bus caught me in about the same position this morning and sat patiently behind me before overtaking when it was safe. So, I would report it to the police and even if they can't take any action against him hopefully they will at least speak to him and make him think about what he's doing in future. From your description of the driver I would suspect that he isn;t the sort of person who would like being contacted by the police. Another advantage of that course of action is that if he involved in a future incident with a cyclist it may show up that he has form.

You can get a whistle that you can fit up an exhaust pipe from most joke shops. He'll think that his engine is knackered!!

I had some woman knock me off my bike once and tell me that once i'd twisted the handlebars back it would be ok. While telling her that my carbon bike was now a write off as you can't risk carbon she got back in her car and drove off.

I was made happy again with quite a large insurance payout from her insurers.

But if they hadn't have paid out i'd have made sure she'd have suffered the loss of her car the same way i suffered the loss of my bike.

Absolutely. Paint stripper all over the car. I can't believe that the tw@t would be so rude when you clearly know what he looks like, where he lives, his car make, registration plate etc etc. If you were of that mindset you could really go to town on him!
