Hi everyone.

Sorry for the begging letter BUT I come pleading for sponsorship, Allow me to explane, My name is Gary Brennan, 2 years ago, I was 40 stone, Today I stand here a little over 16 stone, I have lost weight by nothing other than cycling to work and watching waht I eat.

In July and Sept I rode the Manchester To Blackpool and the Manchester 100, for The Christie Hospital, However Sponsorship has been pretty slow this year, I can appreciate we are all skint these days, Last year I raised almost £1000, this year however I have raised just £25 :-(

Please PLEASE dig deep and sponsor me on the following link

Firkin hell Gary not visited your site for a little while, been 'busy' I thought, losing 3 stone myself, your looking so different now its almost incomprehensible, chapeau sir keep it up and good luck.

If I can be so forthcoming. Stop selling yourself short, multiple XL cloth sizes are for fat bastards, you are not one, try extra large in a few manufacturers and I think you'll be surprised at how they fit, we all know Italian 'pro' kit comes up small but there's a lot out there which doesn't. Secondly, I'm a spectacle wearer, have you thought of getting some new frames? Nothing wrong with your existing ones but buying new glasses, I find, entirely changes your, whats the word I'm looking for????, mindset maybe, but gives you a new perspective and outlook on things, it could be what you need for the next step and to finally break free of the old you? Just a thought, hugest respect to you and again, good luck.

Thanks Andy and Red, We have now hit £100.

Batch, Thanks for your comments mate, Keep an eye out on the blog, for this week I attempted to wear a "L" Cycling Jersey, did it fit ? Your gonna have to wait and see :-)

Re glasses, The ones you see now I have only had about 18 months, HATE having my eyes done, but that said I do need new ones for sure, the ones I have now are very different to my old ones and the new ones I get will be different again :-)

    Thanks again
