Anyone got tips for using this blinking website and not just ending up with a basket of stuff that costs eight times what you'd normally pay?

All I get is shoved towards the most expensive options and no easy way of selecting the sensible stuff that I'd buy in person walking around the store.

Help!
FCN 5 belt driven fixie for city bits
CAADX 105 beastie for bumpy bits
Litespeed L3 for Strava bits

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

Exact opposite here: can take my time, do it over a few days, buy the cheaper options without regret, compare with prices from other retailers instantly.
    Saves me time and money.

    Yeah,

I regularly see a guy on a load carrier bike at the supermarket.

You know what, they might weigh 300lb but I really fancy one of those suckers. Turning circle of an oil tanker but how cool would it be to ambush a roadie on one loaded up with Tesco's bags? Food chain modifier of about 70 I'd figure. :D

Our cycle couriers use one of these with a trailer on the back!

look at the whole shelf, not just one item

Get a clubcard - once it gets used to you, it'll start honing your favourites

I know Tesco are the font of all evil but they do make the online customer experience relatively simple - although the gold medal for this goes to (shock) the DVLA, their online car tax application site is superb.

It's just a hill. Get over it.
