Could you take the Manitou forks with you to Cannock on Sunday please? My mate Martin (off of the HONC) is gonna come ride with you guys and collect them.

Many thanks :D

Nice scales. A friend of mine used a set similar to that to weight talcum powder, I think.
Seemed to be some strange hobby of his, but lots of his other friends were interested in it as well.

Grrrr that cassette would look perfect on the Thunder, i might have do do the old switcheroo when you aren't looking on Sunday, I have a plan that involves distracting you with bacon, and I warn you my meat can be very distracting ;) Mmmmmmmm Bacon

And Yep Alex to answer your question on El Cap's behalf, we've enrolled El Cap into the HOMBRES for this one, were riding half 10 -11ish or I'll be there with one or two others for a butty from half 9. If anyone else wants to join us for a steady and sociable ride then feel free, gimme a shout for more details

Back in the day of "Cakefest" rides on UKMB, it was traditional for everyone attending to bring enough cake to sink a battleship...

And it was good. The pinnacle involved more cakes than people, a sunny day and old men wearing eagles and owls on their arms.

I've got the pictures somewhere, but can't seem to log into the photobucket site where they're loaded from work. That was a really fun day - can't remember if we ended up riding or not though... :D

Don't be silly. Cake should be mounted further down to improve stability. Unless it's a very light weight cake, in which it's okay. Just.
