Wow what a great little brooks video. Thats all the reasons I love Italy right there. I'd love to have a chnace to ride something like that. ta for the link. The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.0 -
Does look great - cant wait now till next year and to get out to some summer roads back in ItalyPain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0

There's a good write up on retrobike (I'm biased 'cos I'm in it):

Probably one of the best bike trips in terms of atmosphere, enjoyment and scenery - 205km on a 1980s bike is not to be underestimated - inspired choice of riding 32mm file-tread CX tubs meant plenty of grip and comfort on pretty rough roads.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0 -
Love that part of Italy and have this on my 'bucket list' to complete. Doing the Raid Pyrenean in 2011 so would really like to put this down for 2012 - at least I wouldnt have a problem getting my wife to come along to this one
Need to start looking for a suitable bike now then...Your Past is Not Your Potential...0 -
