Stinky cycling shoes
They've got wet, they've started to smell - how do I clean em??!! I'm using Shimano SPD-SLs if that makes a difference!
I have been spraying with Febreze for the sake of the wife's nose - I guess I can't put in washing machine as I would with trainers - any tips?

use sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), sprinkle all over/in, leave in a plastic bag for a couple of days, shake out powder

put them in an old pillow case, then shove them in the washing machine on a mild setting...better for your ear drums if you wash a few other things at the same time - which is the reason for the pillow case...0
