No, 17 miles into work and 17 miles home is enough without going out at lunchtime too!!!0

I work from home as well.
In the summer I would do an hour in the moning before work, but as it's getting darker in the monings I go for a ride at lunchtimes. Just a quick blast for an hour or so.0 -
Another home worker here - I am lucky (not sure that is the right word) that my work involves a lot of conf calls with US so I have flexible work time, so I have an almost continental lunchhour. this means I can get a 25 mile ride, shower etc and be back to work in 2 hrs. Weather permitting I get out 2/ 3 days per week during lunch. I have a 2 year old boy so it allows me to get some miles in and any additional miles I can get in at the weekend are a bonus0

One of the sites I often visit is on the outskirts of Aberdeen with loads of good cycling roads around it and excellent shower / bike storage facilities. I know quite a few folk there that go out at lunchtime if the sun's shining.
Anyway, I'm off for a wee pedal before the rain starts........http://www.strathspey.co.uk - Quality Binoculars at a Sensible Price.

I wish I had my bike with me at work right now. Cambridge Science Park is gridlocked cos of an accident which has blocked Milton Road completely and required the air ambulance and a police helicopter. I could be home in 50 mins on the bike. Looks like I'll be goin nowhere in the car for the forseeable.

I work from home too. Did my first 40miler today. I don't think I was ready for it suffering a bit now.0

I've just joined soe other work collegues in their lunchtime rides ... they go Tues and Thurs.
Only doing their short route at the mo - they normally do 35km in less than an hour so I have to work up to those speeds, but there's a goal!
Instead, yesterday I did 18km, in 40min ... so averaging 27km.hr which is quick for me!0 -
Went for a ride at lunchtime. Was probably one of the best rides ive done. Did 11miles ,weather was amazing, and the best thing was that it got me away from my desk for 45mins.
Going to leave my bike at work all next week and try and get out most days.0 -
