Nah, deep fried Mars bars are a Glaswegian thing (although I had one from the local mobile chippy a few years back - tasted OK actually but sat like a lump of granite for hours after!). Microwaved Mars bars are the staple diet of one of the forums younger northern contributors. If you didn't see the photo you are lucky!!

I'm originally northern but learned to become grumpy in London. Bloody typical that there isn't a box for me to tick, nobody has any idea any more, etc, etc, etc....
