Where's nice this time of year?

Need to take 5 days holiday before the end of November.
Thinking of making it cycle or surf based trip and looking at the second week in Nov. Any suggestions of somewhere to go that's within 4/5 hours flight, warm (so south), and nice routes to cycle and maybe surf. Quite fancy a few 100km rides, but not particularly interested in tackling any mega-mountains - largely because i'm too fat and unfit.
South Italy? Croatia-ish? (although going there next spring anyway..)

Got to be the Canary Islands.
All will be about mid 20s still. Lovely smooth roads and great mountain climbing.
Cheap flights as well to boot.0 -
Don't really fancy the Canary Islands. Ticks the boxes, just don't really like the look of the scenery from google images.
Corsica?... Looks pricey and not as warm, but maybe.0 -

Resorts on Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote aren't pleasing on the eye but the countryside is lovely.
For cycling for me they cannot be beaten. Lanzarote especially the drivers are courteous and the road surface immaculate.0 -

Don't go to corsica if you want to go surfboarding0

Hmm, think i need to pick one sport..
Think lugging about board and bike would just be too much.
Cadiz? Could rent a board i guess..
Think i might reserve Canary islands for a more focused cycling holiday. They do sound the swingers for a bit o' more serious winter cycling.
The mulling continues.0 -

Northern Spain may still be warm enough. Good cycling and surfing, fights to Santander, Oviedo0

I wouldn't discount Lanzarote. You've only got 5 days and the flight is short. If you stay at or within reach of Famara you have access to surf and nice roads. You can hire both bike and board, so take one or the other or neither. At least if there's no surf you can cycle."There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world, t'would be a pity to damage yours."0

Still reckon it's worth considering at least a night in Casablanca....

Went surfing in Morocco earlier this year so sort of maybe knocked it off the list. That said, it was £40 return all the way to Africa an Ireland's finest. Pretty pleased with that.
Cheers for the suggestions!0 -

buy a greenhouse, and a turbo trainer, close the door, jump on the bike, indoor climatic training without leaving your own back garden, oh and theres a roof window for ventilation too.. unless theres a better solution..0 -
We still have 27C (Naples) , but I suspect it will cool off rapidly over the next 2 weeks or so.0
