As far as im aware ride and dig means if you dont help dig or build at a private trail then you cant ride there"Its all fun and games till someone gets hurt, then its hilarious"

Ride and dig means that if you ride at a trail, private or not, you are expected to contribute to its upkeep.
This mostly applies to dirtjumps, where you are expected to fix any lips or landings you damage, and preferably say hello and offer help to the builders prior to tearing chunks out of someone's entire winter's work.
However, this can also apply to local volunteer built trails, XC and DH. If no-one digs, there's nothing to ride.0 -
