Your painted frames?

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone out there has got a bike with a custom paint job on it, so anything not original from factory. Just thought it be interesting to see if anyone's done anything cool and good looking.

I've got a frame in shed kicking about in shed so thinking of something to do with it since it's not worth selling.

If anyones got any post them on here, your own or someones else

    I didn't custom paint it but it was painted just before I bought the frame - my Heckler is an old model with a new spiffy paint job - the guy did it using several coats of car paint of the sort boy racers use to spaff up their motors - its white with metallic flecks in it which look good close up but in reality are not that visible. It's nice and I am sure the frame looked rough before hand so I am glad but I probably would have gone for a simple powder coat otherwise - Windridge do powdercoats for bikes and claim to be specialists at it and have a sort of metallic coating effect which might be nice.

    There was a guy a while ago who had a DJ bike - he had stuck hundreds of skull stickers on in a pattern and then painted over the top in a glossy pink so you got a kind of 3D texture of skulls..can't find the pictures, but I thought it looked good, though not everyone agreed!

    Yeah haha, One of those you have to see :P some of those the guy did custom looks quite cool.

    Mmm, I almost like that. Ironic that he's taken a Five and tried to make it look even more crudely made :lol: Nice idea. I might have to have a word...

    yeah :P :P

    like the forest style one think it was in gallery 3 or 4, looks nice. wouldnt have it myself but its a good idea.
