Shattered after a very long day, and gutted realising despite it being my day off tomorrow, I have to get up at 7:30am for an appointment.

I was self employed before. This way I'm still doing the same thing, earning more-or-less the same money, but with fewer hours and more security. For all intents and purposes, I've been employed by the same company for about 3 and a half years now anyway, but now it's official.
As for the new bike, well, it's another hardtail (I'm still too poor for FS), but a shorter travel XC bike. Nothing mind blowing, it was just a cheapish bike to use for commuting and maybe some winter XC races. Other than that, you'll have to wait until the end of the month.
I very nearly bought an Alfine geared Pompetamine, but then I took a good portion of MTFU.0 -
cool, congrats on everything except for the bike.0
