Those bastards!
I want to use them year round, for racing and commuting so they've got to be all rounders. I like the look of these ones, some others are butt ugly.
Anyway, here's the contenders -
SIDI Giau http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=29825
£119.99
SIDI Dominator 5 Lorica http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=31975
£159.99
Shimano M161 MTB SPD Shoes http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=47511
£77.99
Shimano M183 MTB SPD Shoes http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=46578
£99.99
Shimano M123 MTB SPD Shoes http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=47515
£66.99
Anyone got any recommendations??
Cheers

Out of all the shoes mentionned, only the M183N have "meshless" uppers so they may be the best choice for water proofing if you do indeed need to use them all year.
They may be a little warm in summer though...0 -
Sorry i gota ask but how the hell did you get your shoes stolen :shock:0

Sidi dominators.
but they size up pretty narrow so try to try them on first.0 -
I don't have any experience with bike shoes much, walked into the shop asked for the cheapest pair, and got some shimanos. But if my experience from the motorcycle world carries over, the Sidis will be amazing quality and good fit.0

My Sidis were beautifully comfortable off the bike, but awful on, flexy soles (Action SRS from a few years ago), I got cramp, hot spots, numb toes, worst shoes I've used. Used Specialized S-Works since, totally destroy the Sidis in every way.0

Hey thanks for all the input guys but I ignored it all and bought these ->

hehe
went to Evans and the Mavic Razor's were very comfy, was a bit worried about the slippery sole, and the Bontrager RL's weren't bad either. But after checking online again found the AM51's and with a pair of Sealskins think they'd do the job nicely.
BTW - my shoes were left in a locker at work overnight (stupidly trusted no one to steal them so didn't lock them) and were flogged along with a pair of socks and a t-towel, I blame the Portuguese cleaners...never trust the Portuguese...0 -
I am now worried about the mindset of a person who would steal a pair of used (and thus I guess a bit smelly) shoes, and pair of socks (also used I guess) and a T-towel.
Along with a slight confusion about the reason for having a T-towel in your locker!
Hope you new shoes are good!Wheeze..... Gasp..... Ruddy hills.......0
