Shutt Bibshorts

Need some new bibshorts as my trusty old DHBs, which were a perfect fit, are finally falling to pieces.
Thought I might see what all the fuss is about regarding Shutt's offerings but can't see why I should pay the extra £50 (which is A LOT) for the Pro Bib CoolMax over the standard. Has anybody owned both??
Also, what about sizing? I'm 6 ft 2 tall with a 36 inch waist (fat boy!!) so according to their size guide I need the XL. I'm not XL in anything.
Thanks,
David

give them a call as they are very helpful in relation to sizing. there is a sizing guide on their website so check that out too (although it's only in cms which is not ideal when usually operating in old money).0

Thanks for that, the fact that the "large" size works for 6 ft 2 answers one of my questions so I just need to decide if I should splash the extra £50 for the PRO version when I could get three pairs of standards and replace all my old shorts for a few quid more.
I'd still like to hear form anybody who owns both.......0 -
Got both pairs use the £29 for 10 mile each way commutinge very day and before I invested in the Pro's used these no bother for my 30-40 mile rides at the weekend.
The Pros are my first venture into the £50+ shorts and the difference in the pad is the big difference I've noticed, very comfortable and impressed with them
I got the Large in the Pros and I'm 5.10ft and 36 waist which fit well in the waist and will stretch, its the legs I found tight but doubt this would change if I moved up a size as I have quiet chunky legs
As always with my experiene of Shutt great Customer service there always happy to helpGetting there0 -

I did
Depends what your using them for if its commuting and odd 30 miles then theres nothing wrong with the £29 shorts if fact get 2 pairs
If your doing alot of long rides I'd say yes there worth the extra
if your a club member I think you can get 10% off ( please feel free to correct if wrong)Getting there0
