What tyres for all weather riding?

Can anyone recommend a good set of all round tyres (no pun intended)? I recently forked out on a Globe roll 2. the tyres that come as stock are Specialized Mondo Sport 700x23c. They are completely bald and I'm not 100% sure about using them in the wet. Seeing as its coming in to winter now can anyone give me some advice?

    Schwalbe Blizzard or Durano Plus (if you can find them)

    Continental Gatortskin or GP 4 Season

    will do an excellent job in my experience

    Others recommend Michelin Krylion which I'm also trying
