You've hit the nail on the head there - many people don't know where these various trails exist. I would hope that plenty of members do a little bit about where their favourite trails are, feedback, recommendations etc.
I'll be asking for all of that information after some research has been carried out.
As it's for a project, it may not go live, but if I did feel it was something I could be proud of then I see no reason why it shouldn't go live and be funded through sponsorship. There is certainly some potential to be had here... 8)Specialized FSR XC Expert 20100 -

Yeah with a 25,000 report. I have to also research all of the various technologies that can be used - and how to implement everything that I want to achieve (mostly using API calls).

In my days of honours (software engineering)....we had to do a proper project...

Mine was a system for graphically creating relational algebra notational queries, and running them on an RDBMS, returning a result set in the same way as a SQL query would...with the intention of providing a better understanding of set theory (and therefor querying optimised by design) instead of a chosen query language....
that 25000 word report just filled itself in!
It would have been great fun to do something new meedja related!

The actual back-end of a website is not something to be taken lightly though, it's all interlinking of various database systems, essentially.
Not quite your "draw something in photoshop, then sttatch html to it" kind of thing.
You old programmers get uppity whenever anyone mentions "programming" that doesn't involve some arcane algorithms and intense number crunching, eh0
