Currently looking at doing the West Highland way in the early part of 2011 and would like some pointers off anyone that has previously done the route or locals on what conditions to expect Feb - March.

Cheers

I know about the 'fun' of Scottish weather as i lived up near Elgin / Inverness for about 10 years. The weather can make things more 'interesting' but too much snow is a no go for the trip.

That's the article that started it all off, it went from lets not just chat about it but actually plan it and do the trip.

I have rode Inverness to Fort William before but it was years ago, so this one should be well good :D
