Need bike for my daily commute!

Hi all, I need to buy a bike for my daily commute of around 8 km. The bike should be light and quick as I am of small build and require a nimble bike. My budget is around 25,000. I fancy the Schwinn Sportera Comp.

    Nothing wrong with that bike at all, a reputable brand, sensible layout with disc brakes and fully usable rack/mudguard eyelets.
    The only issue is size, how small is small ?

    I saw that link, schwinn sporterra looks good .

    As Alfablue said, I have a lots of choice. can you suggest some good brands? I heard that Cannondale and bianchi are good brands but one doubt is there any bike available with a budget of Rupees 25000/-.
