Just seen the first Christmas ad of the year, won't say who it was just to spite them. It's still the first week of October ffs.

I cycle down Tooting High Street every day and I noticed yesterday that they have already put the bloody Christmas lights up.

They need to...when I worked in hotels we'd normally sold all the Crimbo party slots by the end of July. We started marketing Christmas in January.
A lot of people fail to realise that shops get bonuses for advertising and selling Christmas items from the, mainly chocolate, manufacturers. And these bonuses can be make or break when they have to compete against the big boys.
Plus...if you don't like it just ignore it like you ignore everything else in life you don't like. It's not as if it's a surprise that come the end of summer Christmas starts appearing in the shops. You don't have to buy it!0 -
You don't have to listen to music but that doesn't stop others from inflicting it on you.0

We have a winner!
PS:- Christmas should not be thought about until after Halloween/Guy Fawkes at least. Parties excluded. They HAVE to be organised :PNone of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.0 -
It's the kiddies I'm worried about. Getting themselves into a tizz over something that's Months away still. It's just so cruel.0
