Serial number on Focus Variado

I want to register my bike with my employer in case it's stolen (it's a scheme they run here). I have a Focus Variado, and managed to find a 22 digit number on what looks like a sticker on the underside of the down tube near the bottom bracket. Will this be the serial number? I was kind of expecting it to be engraved into the frame rather than just on a sticker.

agreed, usually stamped/engraved, never seen a sticker used before
is it somewhere else like on downtube or one of the stays? or under the sticker?
