TRAX Self Sealing Inner Tubes Are Rubbish

After 5 punctures in three journeys last week I fitted a pair of TRAX tubes bought from Fleabay.

On Sunday night when the torrential rain had stopped I rode home and got a flat on the front and rear, they did not self heal, the holes were less than 3mm, they are a waste of money, don't bother.

I have two Vittoria Randonneur City Tyres on order from Wiggle, fingers crossed.

  • Anyone know if those are any good? I use marathon+ but they weigh a shed load more than these.

The 'Randos' are really fast compated to the Treks which had been fitted from new.

They are light and solid but don't like leaning over as far as I do in corners. No punctures yet.
