Bottom Bearing Fitment

Hi guys

I want to swap the chainset and BB from my Spesh XC Expert 2009 to a Spesh Enduro Expert 2004.

The specs off The website are as follows:

XC: Shimano BB-ES25, Octalink spline, 68mm x 118mm, I measured chainline at 50mm chainline.

Enduro: Shimano ES-30 Octalink spline, 68mm shell, 121mm spindle. 50mm

Will it work???

Both bikes probably have the same chainline, so I don't see any reason why it'd not work...

I ran mine (02 frame same spec) with a square tapper BB for ages before switching to Hollowtec II

Shimano Bottom Bracket Square Taper UN54 - 68-113mm

no problems, so it should work fine
