No managers in work today so I'm planning on doing nout!
Not really bought anything bike wise for a while, but I now have a "new frame" savings account0 -
still feeling below par after doing the cat & fiddle sportive in the worst weather I have ever cycled in.
Bright side is 3 seperate orders on their way to the house, with my fav being a garmin forerunner0 -
after a full day of work and what not yesterday i will mostly be buzzing from site to site avoiding sitting at my desk.
Off to nottingham again tomorrow for the last 2 days of my Uni management course, was thinking about taking my bike to try out sherwood pines? never been so dont know if its worth doing and how much of a mud bath its going to be?
Just had the final trip details through from expedia, 3 and a bit days to go! Wahoo0 -
The last time I went to Sherwood after a trickle or three of rain it was less 'fun' and more 'painful slog'. It's just down the road from me you seeeeeeeeee.
Morning all. Want more sleep. Sleepy.0 -
Morning gang
was woken at 6 by a searing pain in my knee, then again at half 6 by Mrs G waking up, so I've stayed up, I'm back on earlies tommorrow so at least it means i'll sleep tonight.
So far been quite productive, I found my knog nerd I thought I'd lost yesterday so whacked that on the bike this morning, all being well the postie should be here soon too with my pedal spares so I can sort that while I can still be bothered.
In the meantime, think its time for a McBellas bacon butty and a nice cup of Dowe Egberts0 -
Today is meh.
I've been awake since 2.30 am. Little one decided to wake up and climb into bed with me and mrs spong, then fidgetted for the next half hour so I attempted to 'sleep' downstairs on the sofa, until the dog decided to join me. I didn't realise how loud a terrier could snore.
The rest of my day will consist of work, meeting, work, meeting, lunch, meeting, home.
Once at home I'm off out on the inbred to make sure everything's running ok. I've decided to leave the brake hoses until after MSG on Sunday as the law of sod states that i'll completely bork the whole job.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
Who are you calling inbred?0 -
Good Morning Freaks!
Today, I'm all excited as my new wheels should arrive.
Apart from that, lots of meh and waiting to go home.

Morning all,
Weather's on the crap side of good today. Waiting for my neo guard then I'll be off to test it out.
Rest of the day shall be spent playing Halo Reach, and browsing the web looking at bike parts i don't honestly need or can afford.
TBC give me a shout if you're off to bedgers, was going up with a mate Saturday too.0 -
totally meh today for me too but i got a phone call regarding a job interview this Thursday so I will be doing my research in my free time at work today."It is not impossible, its just improbable"

My mate worked out that he needs to finish 11th or higher to beat me on the last race to beat me in the standings!
Make sire you do the practice lap, and remember to enjoy it.0 -
Yah morning all. Just another day at work, batting off curve balls and charging batteries in readiness for tonight's ride...0
-
Day of absolute meh for me, which means 1 hour in uni then back home to do feck all for the rest of the day.0

At work,
not wanting to be here, The company is a top employer in Denmark where everyone wants to work for them.
But they treat there foriegn works with ignorance and wonder why no one sticks about when they are ignorant and just generally awful0 -
I got Halo Reach. Trying to play it slowly instead of just finishing the single player all in one uber sitting.
VWSurfBum type person. I'd not really bother unless you really feel the need to get out and bike.0 -
Tartanyak
Type person no I think beer and relax will be much better suited to these conditions0 -
Morning,
Got a message yesterday saying work hadn't got my time sheet for last week which I did hand in, which means just short of £200 will go on next months pay instead, which I could of done with now. So now, embaressingly, my Mum is talking to the pay roll guys because my mum is trained in pay roll, telling them they should give me an advance.
Personally I feel like crap and couldn't be bothered arguing and was going to leave it.0 -
Morning all!
Well I went out on a school night last night......and....I feel fine.
This is more than can be said for the weekend when I go out playing PUB GOLF Saturday night. I have a job interview on Sunday.....I can see it all ending in FAIL! I am currently working out how to cheat so I don't die!
VWSurfbum..........Sherwood Pines...if it has rained some of it can get pretty waterlogged but I suppose it's no worse than anywhere else. Its good there if you fancy a quick blast down some windy singletrack but theres nothing really technical and no mahoosive hills! There is a DH area with a few bits of jumps etc as well though.
Today I will mostly be skiving as much as possible.....then snowboarding tonight.Ride it like you stole it!0 -
should be writing a sales report for Sept, but cant be ar$ed2014 Whyte T-129S0

Greetings from the dark continent
All I can day is that it is HOT here, well over 30ºC :¬) and to think we're only in the first month of Spring. We're expecting the first rains of the year any time soon and I welcome them
No riding while I am here sadly, but lots of socialising and I even paid all my old biker buddies a visit at the Classic Motorcycle Club in the hope to see my old R1 there, but alas, I didn't
Other than that, just under two weeks left here then back to the wet and miserable West Midlands0 -

Tucking into a reagge reggae pastie and a old Jamaica finger ale, yummy0

Today is full of meh, well the whole month has been. My dog of 14 years was put down last night as he was too ill and wouldn't have made it until morning, was strange waking up with him not being in the house.
Gotta shed load of films and tv programmes such as House, NCIS, Terminator Salvation etc to get through.
Hopefully the chicken I took out in the early hours of the morning will have defrosted enough by the time I get home to cook some sweet and sour chicken.0 -
I spent the day driving a new BMW 520 around slippery driving track. I spun it a lot. Great fun, and personally given how I've seen British drivers freak out when the weather turns frosty for 2 weeks of a year I'm wondering if it shouldn't be a mandatory part of you guys driving lessons too.0

I absolutely slaughtered that foam dummy family too.0

Had a decent day at uni, including dropping an absolutely almighty dump. I'm now hungry, so I'm debating eating now, and potentially being hungry again later, or waiting and having a single bigger meal.0

Why not have two big meals?0 -
That requires the effort of cooking two big meals...0
