A placcy replica of the Ryder Cup?

Just off to the right of the bar in the old clubhouse.

So how come they gave it to you, if you don't mind me asking?

BTW you really need to find a forum for Septic golfing fans and post that :D

Long story short - I was hosting a dinner for a group of UK govt officials at the Celtic Manor. During the dinner, one of the Ryder Cup organisation team gave a presentation/talk/speach on the buisiness benefits of hosting the Ryder Cup in Wales. He'd brough the actual Ryder Cup with him. I had my pic taken holding it. This was quite a while ago and I've been waiting for today to post it... :D

I may or may not have drunk far toooooo much there in the past. I hate golf and ended up performing confidence bets involving £20 notes, lighters and water.

Ahh - I thought that was from today and was wondering how the hell you'd got your mitts on it so soon after Montgomery was waving it around :)
