Hi guys - Stumbled across a local mtb route on the net today - deers leap park, East Grinstead.

Doesn't seem to be a huge amount online about it. Nor have I heard of it before.....despite living only about 20 miles away.

Anyone ridden it? What's it like terrain and length wise?

Thanks

It's horrific in the wet. Weirdly, someone asked about it on Singletrack earlier. They used it a fair bit for Southern XC races in the last 5 years or so.

There's a couple of bits of short singletrack in the trees, but I wouldn't travel 20 miles to ride there, even in the dry!

thanks for the tip....I'll stick to the Surrey Hills instead!
  • I rode there last in October about 4 years ago. Your bike will clog up in the wet as it's very chalky. You'll need thin tyres or lots of clearance. Anyway it wasn't fun which is why I haven't been since.
