You spelt Lay Z Boy wrong.

I like Biopace, its fast. Although that might just be because my chainset is 48/38/28, with a 25 tooth granny.

And these were the real lay z boys back in your day

Would that be a Mongoose in your avatar by any chance?

Pretty close though. thel33ter rescued his from a dump and built it up. Mine actually cost money, but not a lot, and I needed somewhere to keep my Awesome Flexstem. And it has Mint Sauce stickers on it, making it an Art Bike.

Seriously now, anyone with the word "cool" in their name has NO place discussing what is cool.

As I understand this thread is about -Old School MTB it's not bad to talk about the styles of the times. Even that very video shows how brave and stylish riders were, all those emotions of them after crash etc.

Therefore in terms of style and bling, I doubt that even mightiest bling of Langdegla can come close to the Society of Surrey Boys riding retro bikes. I mean there are Carbon Klein's, Ti Joneses around and all weird high tech bikes of those times to be seen in immaculate working order ridden by RealMen.

So for style, coolness and RealMan questions Cooldad is the boss. I even think Cooldad has got awesome picture to prove it.

p.s. I know Ti Jones isn't that retro after all.
    What could have been (Video)

I'll choose not put too much stake into someone's opinion who is admittingly terrible though

    i hope its dry.
  • I loved the dude who tries getting up the small climb at the end of the run, but loses momentum, ends of riding backwards with his nuts riding the top tube, then falls over. Had me chuckling!

I blame popstar for that and thel33ter for that. They were already calling me that before I joined. I assume they were being complimentary.
But I am cool, my collection of cardigans and sandals is epic.
