hi,
I'm thinking of buying one of these and was wondering if anyone had any experience. Are they be ok for night riding on unlit, but not too technical trails.
any info appreciated.

Incredibly poor value, 250 lumens for that price is beyond a joke.0

Not used the light you mention but I'm guessing '250' refers to the output which IMO is OK-ish for 10-12 mph on fire roads and bridleways in total darkness.
I have a Hope Vision 1 (250 alleged lumens) that I use for my non-technical ride home during early Autumn/Spring and it's OK just to throw on when it goes dark but it's not enough for technical stuff - not so much in terms of brightness it just doesn't have the spread.
I would also add that I don't think any light - no matter how bright - is enough on its own for MTBing at night. Two or more lights give much better perspective and depth.0 -
thanks for the info guys.I'll have a good look around and see if theres anything better value for the money.0

thanks north,
I should have had a look at the lights thread to start with. The magic shine light looks a pretty good option for the money and seems to get some good reviews.0
