Feck me I am up far to early.

Off to my first lecture of the new year at Uni, they have decided that it must be held in some hotel due to renovation works up at the proper Campus, so now I have to trek off to somewhere that's miles from where I have to be this afternoon.

Think I got time for a brew and then I should be all buzzing and raring to go.

I wouldn't bother going in then - sounds like too much of a faff! Didn't anyone tell you your not meant to go in on a Monday anyway? :) - bear in mind my cynical view comes from someone who has been at uni for 7 years and counting!

Morning. First day back at uni today, and I'm running on nowhere near enough sleep.

I'm in 9-5, but with a 3 hour break in the middle, when I may well come home and take a nap.

In a bizarre twist of fate it took me 2 minutes to set up the front mech on the inbred last night, but nearly an hour to get the rear shifiting correctly. God knows what I was doing wrong, but a belly full of sprouts and roast chicken didn't make for a good work environment.

Today will be a bit of meh, followed by more meh. I've got too much work on again and yet again senior management have all taken annual leave at the same time and the other manager on site is off sick. Meh.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

    Who are you calling inbred?

Just got in to work. I fell down the stairs on friday night and knackered my back and ankle then last night i kicked the skirting boards and now have bruised toes, but all that is overshadowed by the fact i have to go and set up the theatre in work cause the bloody students are starting back their lectures. I hate students in cardiff.

    Morning all,

1st day of my two week holiday today. As an added bonus, the missus has taken the son to see his gran today, so i have the day to myself. This has so far been used to do sweet FA. Kettle just boiled, then i think the 360 shall be played for a bit.
Weather is a bit meh, but i think an afternoon ride is on the cards!

One question though, when is it acceptable to announce it as "beer O'clock" ?

don't forget to change your underpants
  • Good morning all. It's been piddling down all night, which means the trails will be soaked. Which means I'm going to get covered in mud. Which is fine actually. Fitted a front crudcatcher and just ordered one of those Mucky Nutz doodahs (which at tenner shpped is worth the risk). Debating swinging buy the LBS for a chat about better autumn front tyres but I'll probably just give it a go on the Ardent and see what's what after.
  • Oh okay Mucky Nutz, where exactly did you pull the 2 quid "handling charge" from? Dicks.

Instead of a crud catcher, I just use my face. I find it works just as well.

    Morning alllllll.

I need to wash my car. It's covered in Belgium :(

My lecture this morning was so pointless, 2 hours of just rubbish introductory stuff.

Got another lecture at 1pm, only an hour though but will probably be full of rubbish introductory stuff again. I suppose finishing your day at 2pm is alright though, after pretty much doing nothing all day ;)

I just have a week of dealing with numpty lecturers who get paid lots of money but have no common sense.
The usual one is - Them: ' the computers not working'.
Me: ' that's because you just turned it off'

Morning. ive been doing work

Had a very wet slippery muddy ride yesterday, which was nice. got cleaned up washed bike and cleaned it and put it to bed. thought this best as my brother said to me at the end of sundays ride " we'll have to be carefull on tuesday night ride not to hurt ourselves" as everyone knows thats like saying "one last run" so as i'm off to Vegas on saturday i'm taking easy.

Lastnights redbull thing was good. the wife even watched it with me.

hunger is setting in now, off home soon where i think some chicken/bacon/cheese creation will be made. *drools*
