chain lube

hi everyone, i am looking for advice on what chain lube to use on my new road bike.i do about 130 miles aweek, there are various types on the market wet/dry not sure which one to use ? please help.

    I would strongly suggest doing a search - there are probably several hundred threads on this topic already - and they all go the same way.....

    Many answers are going to come your way.
    FWIW chains are NOT an item that needs any lube in particular, but they do need lube, and regularly. You can use just about any oil on them and it will serve you well. Squirt it on, wipe off excess, ride, repeat every week. If you feel you must use one of the so-called "bike chain specific" types(of which there are lots) just pick one and go with it. You won't be dissappointed.

    There are a few previous forums on this topic you can search for ideas, but for what it's worth my personal favorite as an all-rounder is ProGold's ProLink Lube.

    I use this all year round for wet and dry rides and it seems to work as well as anything. I've trede various others including some of the wax options, but found them to cling on to more dirt
