Bought myself a Specialized Echelon helmet in the spring but i think its too small. I want to buy a new helmet and like the look of the GIRO Monza. Are these any good?
Also do you know how long a helmet should be used before it needs replacing? I have an old Giro Hex for my MTB but its getting on a bit now so any comments on this would be appreciated.

I'm on my third Giro Monza, good value for money in my opinion, and good head coverage in case of accidents.
Helmet manufacturers say around 3 years I think(but could well be wrong!), but in my experience of helmets they last until the inner pads wear out and are irreplaceable
