winter bibtights which ones?

looking to get my winter bibtights,looking for some that are going to keep me warm.
have about £100 to spend any good ones out there for that money?cheers.

I just bought some 2XU 3/4 bib tights, liking them a lot so far, plenty warm enough, though it's not been that cold yet.

These are also my first bib tights so nothing to compare them to.

Assos, but you'd need a good sale to get them at that price.
Maybe worth looking at the Shutt bibtights...

cheers hopper,i have all the assos summer gear and really comfy.so may have to see if anything in sale or just cough up a bit more dough

So far lowest has been 7 degrees and at that temp my Gore Power ones are great.

I'd like to see how they are at 0.

I wore these over our "winter", and they did the job perfectly in temps down to about 5 deg.

The only have 'L' and 'XL' in stock though, and IIRC another thread said Wiggle won't be replenishing stock for 2010 lines, they're just waiting to release the 2011 range.

I have the DHB Merstons and they are fine down to minus 2 or 3 and the pad is splendid.

Surprisingly warm when wet too as I discovered on Saturday night.

the 2011 DHB's are out now and they have winter specific tights. I prefer 3/4's so i've just ordered a pair. will let you know what there like when they arrive.

I've never ever found the dhb pads comfortable, have they changed them recently?

I have 2008 Merstons and 2010 Earnleys and find them both comfy. The pad in the Earnleys is pretty thick though; I can imagine it won't suit everyone. Bit like sitting on a couple of weetabix to start with.

ive got the merstons and a pair of the dhb undershorts (padded boxers) and the pads seem fine to me. its all personal taste as with saddles, but for me they work and cant complain for the money.
