2011 cannondle trail sl1

ive provisionally picked this bike at my lbs but i cant find much in the way of a review on it, any one got an opinion on this bike? or am i missing out on something better?

iv got a SL2..although a 2010 model.....think they are very good frames,iv upgraded mine now so only the frame left from the original spec..if your thinking of chaning the forks,although the recons are pretty good...its a 1.5" steerer,iv changed mine to fox float 32 tapered....all in all a great bike though..,has a very good spec,especially the frame.

I have a 2009 F4Z which I am very happy with... the geometry and overal design looks pretty similar to the Trail SL.

It is a well made, good looking frame that gives good ride characteristics... a nice compromise between trail slack and XC steep. The backend of the F series bikes is pretty stiff which makes it good for peddling but hard work in proper rocky and rough situations - it looks like the Trail SL might be a bit more forgiving as they have tweaked the chainstays.

All in all - it should be great fun to ride and worth upgrading, if that is your bag.

thanks guys,it is good to know the frame is a good long term keeper as i would like to upgrade the parts over time, cant wait!!
